We have supported many book-related charities over 50 years, since our very first edition.
The support has taken many forms, from free-of-charge stands to leaflet drops and promotion on our website, and everything in between.
In 2014 we formalised these initiatives and invited applications from charities, to become the annual priority charity of The Fair.
Our Charity of the Year 2020 Winner was Royal Voluntary Service who aim to inspire and enable people to give the gift of voluntary service.
Royal Voluntary Service works to alleviate isolation and loneliness among the elderly with a number of initiatives in the community and NHS, including its Home Library Service.
