We love to celebrate the outstanding talent within our industry. Our awards ceremonies range from those celebrating international excellence in all fields of the publishing industry, to recognising the innovative trailblazers who are under 30 and taking the industry by storm.

LBF International Excellence Awards

The ever-popular International Excellence Awards are now in their seventh year. Celebrating global markets and showcasing the wealth of success and innovation in the world’s publishing activity outside the UK, over 65 nations have received recognition at LBF since the awards started.

Applications are now open. Deadline for entries is Thursday 17 December 2020.

The Trailblazer Awards

The Trailblazer Awards are powered by The London Book Fair and in partnership with the Society of Young Publishers (SYP) and BookBrunch. These awards were created to celebrate the next generation of the UK publishing industry; those ‘roaring through their 20s’.

Cameo Awards

The CAMEOs recognise the many creative endeavours spawned by books, from book to screen and everything in between! We all have our favourite adaptations, whether we agree or not if the original book, or the secondary format, was better. There are four categories; book to TV, Film, Stage and Audio. Anyone can submit an entry, be they a production company, publisher, agent, bookseller, or anyone wanting to nominate a third party.

Judges look for demonstration of quality and success, including, but not limited to, box office ticket sales, reviews, press coverage, critical acclaim, social media profile, peer-to-peer recommendation and industry prize nominations.

The UK Book Blog Awards

Bloggers, social media influencers, members of the publishing industry and the general public can contribute nominations for the four categories: Book Blogger of the Year, Bookstagrammer of the Year, Book Podcast of the Year and Book Vlogger of the Year.
