What's On

Make your words come to life

The London Book Fair exists to help people make their words come to life in the vigorous and dynamic publishing industry.  We have a myriad of options for you to explore at our show, all to help you succeed in your business.

Gathering people together and creating the perfect space to make connections is what we are all about.

Show features

The London Book Fair exists to help people through the shifting terrain that is the publishing industry. Our features are carefully curated to showcase informative and inspiring content across all its forms. We also present awards to highlight the exemplary work of organisations from within the industry.

The 2022 Seminar Programme

Our seminar programme provides insight into every aspect of the book world.

LBF holds various conferences during the fair and throughout the year, exploring many different topics such as consumer insight, rights, education and inclusivity in publishing. There's something for everyone.

LBF offers prestigious award initiatives. The International Excellence Awards is the comprehensive global offering celebrating excellence outside the UK. Additionally, there are the Trailblazer Awards and the Blog Awards. These culminate in ceremonies during the fair.

Charity of the Year

LBF has supported many book-related charities for as long as the fair has been running. In 2014, we formalized these initiatives somewhat and invited applications to become the annual priority charity. The London Book Fair is delighted to have The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) as this year's charity.

Market Focus

The objective of the LBF Market Focus is to spotlight publishing trade links with the country or region that is showcased, highlighting its publishing industry and the opportunities for conducting business with the rest of the world. The London Book Fair is delighted to have Sharjah as the Market Focus for 2022.

The Department for International Trade

The UK’s Department for International Trade has overall responsibility for promoting UK trade across the world and attracting foreign investment to our economy.
