Charity of the Year

  • Charity of the Year 2021

The London Book Fair (LBF) has supported many and varied book-related charities for as long as the Fair has been running – 50 years. The support has taken many forms, from free-of-charge stands, to leaflet drops, and promotion on the website, and all in between.

In 2014 we formalised these initiatives somewhat, and invited applications to become the annual priority charity. The Charity of the Year 2021 is Royal Voluntary Service.

  • Royal Voluntary Service

In every corner of Britain, Royal Voluntary Service mobilises volunteers to support those in need, in hospital and in the community. Through the gift of voluntary service, our volunteers provide much-needed support for over-stretched public services and for people as they age. The Home Library Service ensures that those who are unable to get to their local library can still enjoy the pleasure of reading or listening to books.
