Academic and Professional Publishing Conference
Thursday, 12th March
The Academic and Professional Publishing Conference offered insights into the latest trends and challenges in academic and professional publishing. It was a 1 day conference on Thursday, 12th March at The London Book Fair which will explore digital transformation of academic publishing and evolving business models in an era of shifting institutional priorities.

Main Stage
Main Stage is the biggest stage at LBF. It will feature keynote talks from across the world of publishing and books. It will play host to publishing CEOs, National Year of Reading events, insights into industry trends and developments as well as some of LBF's authors of the day
Author HQ
Visit for a variety of expert speaker presentations and panel discussions, focusing on the author/illustrator communities.
Literary Translation Centre
Curated by the LTC partners, talks include topics such as questioning neutrality and opportunities and challenges post-Brexit.
Tech Theatre
Discover the latest technology trends, digital products, and hear from industry experts across a series of panel discussions.
The Salon
Hosting a programme of events around literature and international publishing on Tuesday and hosting the English PEN Literary Salon on Wednesday, which focuses on international literature and freedom of expression.
Olympia Room
Olympia Room programming in partnership with the Booksellers Association on Tuesday and Wednesday, exclusively for bookshops and booksellers. On Thursday it will focus on sessions that offer training, careers and upskilling of the industry.
The International Stage
The International Stage will host talks and events from leading industry experts around the world about the business of publishing, international trends and relevant issues.
