Picture books from the Baltics are gaining international recognition more and more. This panel discussion aims to introduce and explore the work by three leading picture books authors from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. They are: Rasa Jančiauskaitė (Lithuania), internationally published author and creator of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2020 visual identity; Anete Melece (Latvia), with her book The Kiosk to be published in 14 languages including English in 2020; and Kristi Kangilaski, a rising picture book star from Estonia.
