Aimed at those wishing to get their first job in the industry, our panel of seasoned experts will be on hand to provide practical advice on breaking through the barriers and finding the career path that’s right for you. We will demystify recruitment processes as well as give an insight into what employers are looking for in entry-level candidates. We will also look at “common routes” into the industry, such as university degrees, internships, work experience, paid and voluntary work, to see which may be right for you, and offer advice on starting roles and what kind of publishing career these can lead to.
