How do you go about developing your property, finding a licensing agent and make an IP even bigger and better?  How do publishers take a traditional IP and expand it into a full 360 brand?  And how are opportunities for new development in the areas of licensing, TV, film and stage identified?  Join the panel in a stimulating session that will cover the key elements of brand licensing, and listen to our expert speakers who have between them represented some of our best-loved and well-known properties.

Panellists will look at what authors and illustrators should think about before they start to pitch, at what point a licensing agent gets involved and how agents spot a potential property for representation.  Also, how they work with the IP owner to mould it into a consumer product success. Ryan Beaird, will give opinions and advice on how a book IP can enter into product licensing and merchandising.
