The London Book Fair exists to help people through the shifting terrain that is the publishing industry.
Gathering people together and creating the space for them to make connections is what we're about. That includes the three days of the Fair itself as well as other opportunities throughout the year, including our meet-ups, seminars and events which take place all over the world.
LBF holds various conferences from digital publishing to an introduction to rights buying and selling. We also have a wide range of other delegations such as a dedicated Author Club.

LBF holds two award ceremonies each year. The International Excellence Awards, celebrating publishing and related activities outside of the UK and The Trailblazers, celebrating those under 30 in the publishing industry.
LBF hosts a number of smaller events throughout the year such as Tech Tuesdays - designed to showcase what’s happening in the digital world of publishing through relevant speakers, discussion and networking.

LBF has supported many and varied book-related charities as long as the Fair has been running. In 2014, we formalised these initiatives somewhat, and invited applications to become the annual priority charity.
