Jorge Postigo is director of Creative Industries at ICEX - Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) - a state agency serving Spanish companies to promote their exports and facilitate their international expansion. Based at the Spanish Embassy Economic & Commercial Office in London, ICEX coordinates the "UK Panel's Choice" section of New Spanish Books  - an on line guide of Spanish titles with available rights for translation, containing a selection of books recommend by local experts as more interesting for translating and publishing in the British market - and organises inward trade missions and other promotional actions destined to help Spanish publishers and literary agents promote their titles in the UK.
