Is the publishing industry doing enough to become more inclusive? What do you want to see publishers do to make the industry more accessible? What changes does the industry need to make to be truly diverse?

Sponsored by the Association for Publishing Education, this event invites current publishing students to think of new ways of considering inclusivity in the publishing industry. We are giving students a space and platform to share innovative and practical approaches to advance inclusion and accessibility across the whole breadth of the industry, from writers and agents, to editors, and designers. This conversation will give publishing professionals a chance to see how future publishers are pioneering ways to tackle existing industry challenges. Students will be asked to present their ideas in a 3 minute ‘pitch’ to a panel of leading experts working in the industry. The winning pitch will receive £75 worth of book tokens and the runner up will receive £25 worth of book tokens. All are welcome.
