The literary translation sector in the UK and internationally faces a whole range of challenges, which include funding to support the development and professional lives of literary translators and support for publishers in bringing new work to market. Now there's Brexit to consider too: how might it change our relationship with EU and non-EU funders? Will it mean that trusts and foundations have an increasingly important role to play in the artistic and financial ecology of literary translation? Let’s bring together some major players and have a conversation at the heart of LBF.
