Since becoming a party to the Universal Copyright Convention in 1992, China has been committed to and made great achievements in promoting copyright protection in all industries and raising public awareness about copyright. In a digital era where new products, new technologies and new solutions spring up rapidly, the world is challenged by digital copyright protection. The dialogue between Mr. Liu Binjie, Director of General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) and National Copyright Administration of China (NCA) and Mr. Francis Gurry , Director-General of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), on Protection and Value of Copyright in a Digital Era is intended to the major efforts and achievements China has made in copyright protection.
