Authors & Self Publishing

  • Authors & Self Publishing

Once again there will be plenty on offer at LBF 2017 for both established and aspiring authors - a section of the LBF audience that is ever-expanding.

A range of seminars, conferences and special events are due to take place both for, and featuring, authors as well as a dedicated sector of the show, Writers Block, that features companies who provide publishing solutions to authors looking to self-publish.

  • Author HQ

Author HQ is always one of the most popular features at the Fair. Now in its fifth year, it's set to be bigger and better than ever with seminars and events throughout the Fair as well as the return of The Write Stuff, which offers aspiring writers the chance to pitch their book to a panel of agents.

    Authors of the Day

This long established feature of the Fair showcases one author per day in a schedule that includes events, book signings, photo calls and meetings with international publishing contacts. The 2017 line-up is to be confirmed but take a look at the amazing authors we've welcomed previously.

    Look back

The LBF Insights Programme will once again included a full programme of seminars of specific interest to authors, taking place across all three days of the Fair, mostly hosted at Author HQ. In 2016, we saw an amazing 34 seminars in the dedicated Authors Central to the Business seminar stream.
